How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Inside the Grind account directly from within the app at any time. Follow the steps below.
- Open the Inside the Grind app on your device
- Go to Settings → Account
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision by entering your password
- Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
⚠ This Action Cannot Be Undone
Deleting your account — whether you are an athlete or a fan — will permanently remove your profile, content, and associated account data from the platform.
If you have an active subscription purchased through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must manually cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Once account deletion is completed, your account data cannot be recovered.
What Data Gets Deleted
The following applies to both athlete and fan accounts. When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
- Profile information (name, bio, photos, videos)
- Account preferences, settings, and saved payment methods
- Direct messages, comments, and reactions
- Notification history
- For athletes: journal entries, posts, live stream recordings, subscriber lists, fan engagement data
- For fans: followed athletes, saved content, and viewing history
What Data May Be Retained
For legal, financial, and security reasons, we may retain certain data for a limited period:
- Transaction records — retained for 1 year to comply with tax and financial regulations (applies to both athlete payouts and fan subscription payments)
- Anonymized analytics — used for service improvement, no longer linked to your identity
- Legal records — if required by court order, subpoena, or applicable law
Processing Time
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of submission. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
